Katrina Lenhart

Katrina Lenhart is a second year Master of International Development student majoring in Social Policy at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA). She is also pursuing a Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies certificate. She is a researcher with the Gender Equality in Public Administration (GEPA) Working Group led by the the Gender Inequality Research Lab (GIRL, www.girl.pitt.edu) in collaboration with the Ford Institute for Human Security, and has completed an internship with the UNDP as an extension of the research done by this group. Currently, she works as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Ford Institute. She is a student member of the GSPIA Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Her research interests include gender equality, with a special focus on combatting gender-based violence; LGBTQIA+ rights; social justice; and diversity and inclusion. Katrina holds a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College in General Biology with a minor in English.
