​Sara Roach

Sara Roach is a Master of International Development student majoring in Non-Governmental Organizations and Civil Society, graduating Spring 2024, at GSPIA. Sara is a researcher with the Gender Equality in Public Administration (GEPA) working group, and recently completed an internship with the Gender Equality team at UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub. Sara is also a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellow in Turkish, president of the Graduate Organization for the Study of Europe and Central Asia (GOSECA), and a lead editor for the Pitt Policy Journal. Sara's research interests include gender mainstreaming, responsible data use in policy, and inclusive urban policy. Sara holds a B.A. from Virginia Tech in International Relations with a minor in French.
